The 101st Annual Osler Banquet, held at McGill’s Faculty Club and Conference Center, was truly a night to remember for the 130 guests in attendance. This was a celebration of community, mentorship, and reflection on the art and humanity of medicine, which beautifully embodied Sir William Osler’s ideals and legacy.

As has become tradition, the banquet began with an extraordinary classical performance by McGill’s very own I Medici Orchestra. This was followed by several moving and memorable speeches by Dr. Guylaine Beaudry, Dean of Libraries; Dr. Mary Hague-Yearl, Head of the Osler Library; Dr. Milton Roxanas and Dr. Vivian Lane for the announcement of the Winners of the Pam and Rolando Del Maestro Family’s William Osler Medical Student Essay Awards; Dr. Mario Molina for the announcement of the recipients of the Molina Foundation Osler Library Medical Student Research Award; and Dr. Rolando Del Maestro, Honorary President of Osler Society.

The McGill Osler Society would like to express our sincere gratitude to the incredible sponsors, McGill Library, RBC and Nzola Touch, without whom the 101st Osler Banquet would not have been possible.
